You place an account for $100.00 to which a collection fee of 25% is added, making the total now $125.00.  When this amount is collected from the customer, Allen Lewis & Associates will then deduct 25% and remit to client the balance, which is 93.75%.   This enables you as a client to only pay 6.25% for the collection of this account.   This 25% add on will be added to all amounts due from customer, i.e. rental amounts and purchase amounts.  Should Allen, Lewis & Associates recover the lost instrument, a finder's fee of $40.00 will be charged.  remember that all collection fees can be added on as most Music Merchant contracts call for customer to be responsible for these costs.
